Sharon was born and raised here in Salem and became a Christian at an early age. She married Jim Carter, also a staff member at John M. Oakey & Son, and has two terrific children - one son and one daughter. She has worked as a hairstylist for many years and, at one time, owned her own salon in Salem. She has also been employed by General Electric. Sharon loves to spend as much time as possible in the pool during the summer as well as work on her flowers. She is very happy and thankful to be working at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home and enjoys serving families during their time of grief.
