Dot Gibson is a lifelong resident of Salem and graduate of Andrew Lewis High School . She has been with John M. Oakey & Son since 1995 as a receptionist and greeter and is usually the first voice a caller hears when in need. She keeps in touch daily with our part-time staff, scheduling work for funeral services and working with our whole staff to keep things organized. She has the compassion necessary to nurture grieving families and loved ones in their time of need. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling with her husband, Larry. She has 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren and is a member of West Salem Baptist Church .
