In Loving Memory of

Wanda Smith Stover

Wanda Smith Stover, 63, of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2007.  Wanda was an extremely generous woman who always put her family and others first.  She loved collecting angels and now has become one herself.  She was preceded in death by her parents, John Clark and Virgie Lee Hardy Smith; sisters, Dot Conner and Emma Thomas; brothers, Crockett Smith and Johnny Smith; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Magdeline Stover; and brother-in-law, Andy Stover.  Her surviving family includes her husband, Robert C. Stover (Bob); children, Rob Stover and Tina Aurand and husband, Jon; and sisters, Stella Holdren Ross, Belle Hall and husband, Lynwood, and Linda Hawks and husband, Fred.  She is also survived by brothers, Levi Brooks Smith, Eddie Smith and wife, Brenda, and Jerry Smith; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack and Rose Disher, John and Margaret Hudson, and Joe and Diane Stover; and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 20, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Burial Park.  The Rev.
