In Loving Memory of

Lambert, Samuel Crockett, 76, of Salem , passed away Friday, November 4, 2005 at the V A Medical Center in Salem .  He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1264 and was a 50 year member of the Cedar Bluff Masonic Lodge.  He was predeceased by a son, S. Marc Lambert; brother, F. A. Lambert and a sister, Sue Dixon.  Surviving family include a loving wife of 35 years, Joyce Hill Lambert; daughter, Ann Lambert of Ormond Beach FL; brothers-in-law, George M. Hill and wife, Betty, William E. Hill and Len Dixon; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Rains and Gail Lambert; several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Clinch Valley Cemetery in Richlands with Rev. Leonard Southern officiating.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2005 from 2-4 pm at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem .  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Fort Lewis Baptist Church .  On-line condolences may be made at www.johnmoakey.com
